As anyone who lives in the southern hemisphere and is just slightly obsessed with pinning everything they see on pinterest, or spending hours of their procrastination time on youtube or any other form of social media would know, once it starts changing seasons it becomes some what of a difficult time. If like myself, you find yourself drawn into the realm of American 'beauty guru's' (for lack of better words) or the British youtube invasion you will realise that the seasons are just a tad bit topsy turvy.
I for one, live in a part of Australia that doesn't generally have that much of a winter, let alone any form of Autumn/Fall. For me, it usually stays warm for pretty much of all Autumn and only starts to get cold around mid July (which last about two or three weeks anyway, so not really the snowy white winter I have always dreamed of) and by the time August starts Mother Nature flips the switch and it's pretty much Spring time all over again.
Now, when you see a few too many things from the northern hemisphere (especially around the holiday season) I find the green eyed monster rearing its ugly head and eventually I develop full fledged season envy. The sight of all the Bath and Bodyworks candles, the 'sweaters', scarves and everything in between has me seeing green. Whilst I should be excited to about the upcoming scolding hot; too hot to even breathe; weather, I find myself lusting after the perfect chilly night on Halloween (which is completely B-grade in Australia) and drinking hot chocolates during a nice white Christmas day.
Mind you, it's really not THAT bad having Christmas in Summer, you get to go swimming, play in the sprinkler or like my family and I, get a giant piece of tarp, some dishwashing liquid and a hose and have a grand old time getting bruises and grass burns whilst flinging yourself onto a wet and slippery makeshift water slide.
Whether you live in the southern or northern hemisphere, let me know what is your favourite thing about about the holidays.

Blog re-launch
I have decided to get back into blogging after taking a break due to having no inspiration. I have been in such a rut the last few months that I have had no motivation to do anything, I ca't even shower without having to force myself to do it (as gross as that sounds).
With majority of the world heading into Autumn/Fall I can't help but be more inspired at this time of year, even though technically I live in Australia which is currently transitioning into spring and summer (my least favourite time of year). There is just so much to love about the cooler weather, from the fashion and cozy blankets to the looming holidays that instantly put me into a good mood.
I have promised myself to try harder to stick to writing more blog posts and putting more effort into taking better photos and not letting my depression and fear of not succeeding stop me from doing something that I have always wanted to do and that brings me so much joy.
